THE BIGGER PICTURE

DID YOU KNOW?
Davies made his MLS debut at 15-years-old for the Vancouver Whitecaps. That's not enough to make him the youngest player in the competition's history, however. That particular honour belongs to Freddy Adu, who was 14 when he first appeared for D.C. United.

WHAT NEXT FOR DAVIES
Bayern Munich don't report for action for the remainder of the calendar year, with their competitive next match coming against Hoffenheim on January 12 in the Bundesliga. They have a club friendly scheduled against Swiss Side FC Basel on January 6 in the meantime. For Davies, a big 2024 awaits, with links to La Liga giants Real Madrid continuing. Internationally, Canada have an opportunity to qualify for the 2024 Copa America this spring in a playoff against Trinidad and Tobago on March 23.
